Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead advanced analysis and design of steel and concrete structures for major industrial facilities.
  • •Mentor intermediate and junior engineers and designers.
  • •Sign and seal calculations and technical documents in accordance with provincial requirements.
  • •Perform technical reviews, validate structural models, and guide engineering decisions.
  • •Act as a trusted technical advisor; contribute to planning, cost estimating, risk management, and service offerings; conduct site visits and construction reviews.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is an asset.
  • •P.Eng. license Ontario, or eligibility to obtain it.
  • •Advanced experience in structural design within the industrial or mining sector.
  • •Strong expertise in steel and concrete structures and technical project management.
  • •Strong knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and advanced structural software (STAAD, S-Frame, SAP2000, etc.).
