Key Responsibilities

  • •Abide by GPhC standards and registered pharmacy standards, meeting professional, ethical, and legal obligations.
  • •Provide a responsive, patient-focused outpatient clinical pharmacy service and uphold the department’s professional image.
  • •Dispense medicines legally, efficiently, and accurately, ensuring appropriate clinical and other checks are completed.
  • •Provide appropriate counselling and information to patients about their medicines.
  • •Provide leadership within the pharmacy, ensuring practice aligns with the latest Medicines, Ethics and Practice guidance and resolving issues as they arise.

Salary: GBP 28 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • •Experience leading teams and managing a pharmacy as an R.P (Responsible Pharmacist).
  • •Ability to work variable shifts between 08.30-20.00, including weekends and evenings (minimum 3 shifts per week).
  • •Excellent organisational and communication skills for patient-facing and clinical team communication.
  • •Clinical and hospital experience is desirable.
