Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect vehicles delivered to the dealer for safety/compliance and noticeable defects, including dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
  • •Check surfaces for minor paint chips and scratches, and sign an acceptance for each delivered vehicle.
  • •Start engines and drive vehicles to test steering, brakes, transmission, and engine operation.
  • •Replace defective items and perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments using hand tools and specified processes.
  • •Activate and install/repair equipment (e.g., electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights, and signals) and install optional customer/dealer equipment as specified.
