Job Summary

Join AMD’s PCIe IP Enablement team to design and deliver high-quality PCIe subsystem RTL. You’ll own micro-architecture and RTL for complex digital blocks, translate architecture requirements into reusable designs, and drive design reviews to resolve correctness and debug issues. Work closely with architecture, IP design, physical design, verification, and DFx teams to ensure clean front-end signoff and support subsystem integration and SoC delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform micro-architecture and RTL design for PCIe subsystem blocks.
•Develop and maintain RTL for complex digital blocks, including authoring and enforcing RTL coding guidelines and documentation.
•Translate architecture requirements into robust, reusable, high-quality RTL.
•Drive design reviews and resolve complex RTL debug and correctness issues.
•Ensure RTL closes cleanly through front-end signoff (Lint, CDC/RDC, synthesis, LEC, STA) and support subsystem integration and SoC delivery.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 135,800 - 232,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Proven end-to-end RTL design ownership of complex digital IP/subsystems from architecture through tape-out.
•Strong RTL design and micro-architecture experience on complex digital IP/subsystems, from RTL to tape-out.
•Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design and VCS simulation, plus Perl/Shell scripting.
•Proficiency with RTL quality flows including Lint, CDC/RDC, synthesis, LEC, and STA.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
