Job Summary

Build and grow profitable merchant relationships within assigned districts for Consumer Business Banking. Prospect small and medium-sized businesses, consult on the right payment solutions, and sell merchant processing (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) along with associated hardware and software. Identify additional banking needs, resolve client issues, and coordinate with internal teams to help drive team goals and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Acquire new merchant services relationships through prospecting and referrals within the assigned territory.
•Consult with prospective businesses to identify and present payment solutions that meet business needs.
•Sell merchant payment processing (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) and related hardware/software solutions.
•Identify merchants’ other banking needs and coordinate with internal resources to deliver solutions.
•Resolve client issues and ensure client satisfaction while complying with KeyBank policies and procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 48,000 - 72,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
•1+ year of payments-related experience in a banking environment.
•1+ year of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive growth and service goals.
•Strong financial acumen, including ability to read and understand financial statements.
•Exceptional negotiating, closing, and communication skills.
