  • •Collaborate with maintenance personnel and mold technicians to keep equipment in top working order for quality product release.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints or instructions; plan machine shop tool setup considering materials, tolerances, and feeds/speeds.
  • •Fit and assemble mold parts, tools, and dies; set up, run off, test molds, and trace die difficulties to their source for modifications.
  • •Perform precision inspections before/during/after machining and may assist machinists and millwrights with injection molding press overhaul; may support product designers with manufacturing difficulty input.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience, including technical school and/or an Associates degree from an accredited technical institute (or combination education and experience).
  • •Ability to stand for long periods and perform detailed precision work, including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally.
  • •Good hand-eye coordination, vision requirements for distance/peripheral/depth perception, and ability to read blueprints and inspect molds and test products.
  • •Extensive knowledge with electrical, hydraulic, and injection molding machines; familiarity with hot runner mold systems is highly preferred.
  • •Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work independently with little supervision and as a cross-functional team member.
