Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties in every distribution center area including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
  • •Give a comprehensive presentation to senior-level management for program completion and undertake other assigned duties/special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role; alternatively, distribution/supply chain internships, organizations/clubs, volunteer/community service, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Demonstrate results-driven initiative and strong leadership skills with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Be willing and able to relocate during and after the program (company expense) and travel up to 25% of the time.
