Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and operate existing AWS environments, focusing on stability, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
  • •Enhance and maintain self-managed Kubernetes clusters on EC2, improving reliability, scaling, and upgrade processes.
  • •Drive infrastructure automation improvements using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • •Optimize CI/CD and GitOps workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD, or FluxCD.
  • •Strengthen observability and reliability with CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana/Prometheus, Elastic Stack, and OpenTelemetry, including incident response and mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years of relevant cloud experience with platforms such as AWS and Heroku.
  • •Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting (Bash/Python/Yaml), and helm.
  • •Experience with observability tooling including Splunk, Grafana/Prometheus, and ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana).
  • •Experience instrumenting PHP, Python, Java, and Node.js applications to produce metrics, traces, and logs via observability tooling.
  • •Experience with GitOps (Argo CD/Flux CD) and CI/CD tooling in a software engineering or DevOps environment.
