Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Design and Sourcing to manage raw material development and procurement aligned to design guidelines and budget targets.
  • •Build and maintain vendor relationships, maintaining knowledge of vendor capability and availability.
  • •Research and develop new raw material concepts and technologies, including samples and colourways, and coordinate with mills for execution.
  • •Own the raw material development critical path with Product Development and Design, ensuring deadlines, resolving issues, and mitigating risks.
  • •Order and deliver raw materials on time and within cost and quality requirements, ensuring product functionality and maintaining PLM accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work in partnership with designers and technicians, translating creative aesthetic and design vision to teams and vendors.
  • •Technical capability in raw materials development and production processes, including leather and fabric (including testing parameters and chemical fundamentals).
  • •Experience managing vendor relationships and delivering clear briefs to meet demand.
  • •Proven critical path management to deliver collections on time and recommend mitigations for risks and challenges.
  • •Computer skills including PLM and Excel.
