Key Responsibilities

  • •Accurately receive, review, and process vendor invoices and related documents in line with WPP policies and SOX requirements, including proper attachment to the AP system and daily accounting of assigned invoices.
  • •Manage payment processing activities, including preparing/reviewing payment selection and confirmation files, authorisation alignment to timetables, and bank payment transactions.
  • •Verify and reconcile vendor accounts by reviewing monthly statements, resolving discrepancies, and performing reconciliations supporting bank reconciliation and RTR activities.
  • •Review and process Travel & Expense claims by checking receipts, tax, and approvals, amending tax codes when required, and submitting or rejecting claims with reasons.
  • •Drive continuous improvement and month-end close support, including aging report generation, clearing aged AP/NDB, account reconciliations/journal entries, and providing knowledge transfer as PTP subject matter expert.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Finance & Accounting (or related) with relevant mix of qualification and experience.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience in a shared service environment.
  • •Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • •Knowledge of SOX compliance norms related to the process.
  • •Proficiency using an ERP system (preferred), with mandatory Excel skills and Office 365 familiarity.
