Oversee safety assurance, verify systems are mechanically complete and tested, and manage hazard study actions with robust procedures and readiness planning.

Job Function: Entrepreneurship & Venture Building

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and chair PSSR reviews
•Ensure integration of PSSR with commissioning priorities, startup philosophy, and SIMOPS
•Verify that systems are mechanically complete and fully tested; safety-critical systems are operational and validated
•Ensure hazard study actions (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL) are fully closed or formally deferred; operating procedures are completed, reviewed, and approved
•Lead Brownfield-specific responsibilities and coordinate with Operations for safe system handover and startup

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years’ experience in commissioning and startup, refinery or petrochemical projects
•Proven experience in leading PSSR activities and startup of major process systems
•Brownfield project execution experience
•Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and international standards (e.g., OSHA PSSR principles, API, IEC)
•Prior leadership and team management experience
