Job Summary

Support the sales organization as a technical pre-sales and post-sales resource within a defined territory. Qualify technical sales leads, serve as the main technical point of contact during sales calls, and help answer customer questions on features, specifications, and integrations. After the sale, lead technical troubleshooting for assigned accounts in partnership with technical support and engineering, and assist with post-sales training identification.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre-sales technical support by assisting in qualifying sales leads.
•Act as the main technical resource during sales calls, educating customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integrations.
•Be conversant with networking applications and solutions.
•Serve as the lead technical contact post-sales for identified accounts and coordinate with technical support and engineering to resolve customer technical issues.
•Assist in identifying customers who need post-sales training.

Key Requirements

•Field sales experience.
•Experience providing technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
•Experience administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.
•Experience with wireless technologies, including deploying, supporting, and conducting site surveys.
•Strong knowledge of wireless authentication and networking protocols/services (DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP) and related security technologies.

Education:Bachelor's
