Key Responsibilities

•Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts, primarily related to the licensing of film and television content for global television and digital/new media partners, across SVOD, PPV/VOD, EST, and other media, using SAFE.
•Prepare short form license agreements, deal memos, amendments and other legal documents as needed.
•Identify, research, and help resolve business and legal issues, providing ongoing legal guidance to sales, marketing, technology, and administrative teams.
•Review post-execution agreements and input key deal terms into the ONIT application.
•Provide support on special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 65,000 - 75,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of professional experience performing similar responsibilities, preferably with experience in Business Affairs or Legal Affairs in a movie studio, production company, record label, or music publishing company.
•Ability to read, analyze, interpret and summarize contracts.
•Ability to work independently and diligently with little supervision and meet deadlines.
•Adept and comfortable working with a variety of online tools and databases.
•Experience in international licensing of entertainment product is a plus.
