Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted communications partner to Plaid leaders, shaping internal communications strategy, programming, and content.
  • •Own executive communications across channels (talking points, emails, presentations, Slack) for company-wide moments including All Hands and Half-yearly Business Reviews.
  • •Lead company-wide internal communications strategy from All Hands/HBRs to weekly Q&As, org announcements, and major updates, including the internal AI narrative.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with People and other teams to keep internal and external narratives aligned and to lead change communications.
  • •Define and own the internal communications operating model (channels, cadences, editorial calendar) and build repeatable playbooks and templates for recurring programs.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7+ years in internal communications at a fast-paced tech company, ideally working closely with a founder.
  • •Demonstrated ability to build or significantly scale internal communications programs with systems, channels, or programs you architected or elevated.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication plus collaboration and interpersonal skills, including engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Fluency with AI tools in communications and experience owning an AI-related internal or external narrative (strongly preferred).
  • •Experience producing engaging All Hands team meetings and counseling senior leaders (including founder/CEOs) on high-stakes communications.
