Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop fraud, waste, and abuse analytics from concept to finished product using a multi-billion record claims warehouse.
  • •Translate partner and client questions into specifiable analytic logic, determining what can be answered with available data.
  • •Build and refine analytic logic in SQL and Python, testing and collaborating with FWA Subject Matter Experts until results identify real aberrancies.
  • •Separate genuine aberrancy from patterns explained by legitimate clinical practice, coverage policy, or claim edits.
  • •Document methodology, assumptions, and data lineage and communicate findings to internal stakeholders and partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or health-related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • •4+ years writing SQL against large relational data, including CTEs, window functions, and multi-table joins at scale.
  • •Proficiency in Python for data analysis, producing clean, reproducible code (pandas or equivalent).
  • •Ability to translate ambiguous requests into defined analytic questions, including recognizing when data cannot answer the question.
