Job Summary

Lead bridge, tunnel, and ancillary inspections within the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team. Perform structural engineering inspections and support bridge and tunnel load rating work. Develop plans/sketches using MicroStation, Visio, and AutoCAD, assist with research and preliminary calculations, and help prepare cost proposals and scope documents. Guide and train entry-level engineers while coordinating across cross-functional teams and keeping project documentation current.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
•Nationally Certified Bridge Inspector (NCBI) certification via an FHWA-approved bridge inspection training course.
•3+ years of experience in bridge, tunnel, and/or ancillary inspection or design, or other infrastructure-related work.
•NHI Course 130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges; if required, NHI Course 130053 Refresher.
•New Jersey PE license or the ability to obtain it promptly.
