Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer, configure, maintain, and monitor HSM devices for payment card systems.
  • •Coordinate the full lifecycle of cryptographic keys and digital certificates across issuing, acquiring, and clearing/settlement.
  • •Support payment authorization and clearing systems from a cryptography perspective, including secure communication and integrations.
  • •Investigate incidents and diagnose issues related to EMV cryptography, PIN translation/verification, MAC validation, and key exchange.
  • •Maintain cryptographic documentation and runbooks, participate in PCI-related audits, and respond to production incidents via on-call support when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on administration and configuration experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
  • •Strong knowledge of applied cryptography in payment card environments, including key-management processes.
  • •Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard security standards and operational processes.
  • •Good understanding of PCI DSS and PCI PIN Security, including card production and provisioning requirements.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot cryptographic and payment-processing issues by analyzing technical logs.
