Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct classroom, cockpit procedures, flat panel, and aircraft simulator instruction for flight crews on airplane systems and procedures.
  • •Evaluate student progress daily and take corrective action and/or make referrals as needed.
  • •Review revisions to manuals and publications to ensure the latest information is taught and update teaching objectives, outlines, and training aids.
  • •Research specialized maintenance problem areas and review engineering publications to incorporate equipment modifications.
  • •Prepare classroom facilities, complete training forms/records for documentation, and partner with training support/program development to develop and revise training programs and materials.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one (1) year as an instructor in some technical phase of aviation training.
  • •Must have experience using electronic training, flight planning and in-flight publications (EFB).
  • •Must be an FAA or Military rated Pilot, Flight Engineer, Navigator, or other flight deck crew member.
  • •Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
  • •Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges and possess a valid US passport.
