Transport feed to Pilgrim’s poultry farms safely and on schedule to support production needs. Operate and maintain commercial hauling equipment, perform inspections, and ensure accurate documentation and effective communication with feed mill, live production, and farm teams. Follow transportation regulations, biosecurity protocols, and housekeeping schedules while upholding safety, quality, and reliability standards to support bird health and supply chain continuity.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate feed haul trucks to support timely delivery of feed to company poultry farms.
•Conduct equipment inspections per company guidelines and report issues to the Supervisor.
•Operate trucks in a way that maintains product quality and integrity.
•Communicate effectively with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors; ensure accurate delivery documentation.
•Maintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean; follow housekeeping schedule using proper techniques and required PPE.

Key Requirements

•12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
•No positive drug or alcohol test in the previous 5 years to be eligible.
•Ability to communicate effectively with others while following written and verbal directions.
•Appropriate ability to drive a truck safely with working knowledge of driving and traffic rules.
•Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and operate a manual CMV.
