Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a Technical Authority and subject matter expert across water infrastructure disciplines, providing strategic technical leadership across major water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, hydrology, and water resources projects.
  • •Lead technical reviews, assurance processes, and governance activities across project portfolios, ensuring designs comply with international best practice and local authority requirements.
  • •Oversee delivery of complex multidisciplinary water projects from inception through detailed design and construction support, monitoring scope, program, quality, risk, and profitability.
  • •Support project directors and design managers in resolving complex technical challenges, leading technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • •Serve as a senior client-facing representative, build relationships with utilities and government authorities, lead technical workshops and presentations, and support business development through bids and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • •Typically 15–20+ years of experience delivering water infrastructure consultancy projects, including in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng), PE, PMP or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • •Proven expertise across one or more areas such as potable water networks, wastewater collection/treatment, stormwater management, irrigation systems, hydrology/hydraulic modelling, flood risk management, water resources planning, or integrated infrastructure design.
  • •Strong understanding of GCC authority requirements and design standards, plus success managing large multidisciplinary project teams.
