Job Summary

Provide math remediation for at-risk middle school students by adapting the K12 curriculum to state standards and delivering individualized and small-group instruction. Collaborate with general and special education teams to support RTI interventions, collect and use progress-monitoring data, and guide teachers on grouping and instructional decisions. Educate parents on instructional strategies and support administrators and staff with RTI procedures through ongoing training and coaching. Virtual role with some travel for professional development and testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Modify/adapt the K12 math curriculum to meet each student’s unique needs aligned to state content standards.
•Deliver individualized and small-group sessions in collaboration with general education teachers to meet targeted student goals.
•Implement the RTI instructional system and collect/maintain RTI data, including intervention plans and progress monitoring.
•Use assessment and progress data to guide whole and small-group instruction and help teachers identify and group students needing additional support.
•Provide ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and data collection procedures.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 55,000 annually

•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Active South Carolina teaching license required.
•Must be able to clear required background check.
