Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate environmental contributions across project designs and assessments to improve environmental performance for a range of projects.
  • •Direct and manage projects, including recruitment, bidding, project team management, project delivery, and financial management.
  • •Collaborate with environmental specialists, clients and engineering teams to promote sustainable design and environmental enhancement.
  • •Manage large, complex projects with attention to technical quality, safety, and compliance, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • •Identify opportunities to secure new work through proposals, bids, frameworks, and business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Environmental or planning degree (or equivalent experience), with chartered status or actively working towards chartership
  • •Demonstrable experience in delivering EIA under UK planning regimes (Town and Country Planning Act and Planning Act 2008)
  • •Familiarity with consenting processes such as Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) and Environmental Permit applications
  • •Capable of leading client communications and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and the public
  • •Knowledge of emerging environmental and planning policy trends
