Job Summary

Own R&D portfolio operations and insights by designing and standardizing PMO processes, governance, and integrated planning. Improve predictability and transparency using scalable portfolio frameworks, data infrastructure, analytics, and reporting, including financial modeling, budget governance, and investment performance tracking. Serve as a strategic operations partner to R&D, Finance, and PMO leadership to deliver a single source of truth and executive-ready reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement standardized PMO processes, tools, and governance frameworks across R&D.
•Establish integrated planning connecting strategy, resource planning, timelines, and execution milestones, including stage-gate governance and risk management.
•Create and maintain standardized budget frameworks and processes, including baseline-setting, variance analysis, earned value metrics, and escalation thresholds.
•Own and evolve the R&D portfolio management database, define data standards and KPIs, and lead automated dashboards and trending analyses.
•Develop executive-ready portfolio reporting packages (monthly/quarterly) and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,700 - 200,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Biology or equivalent; MS or PhD in Biological Sciences preferred.
•Minimum 10 years of program management experience in biotech, with an educational background in molecular biology or genetics testing.
•Experience as FP&A or Finance Manager supporting Engineering or Product organizations is desirable.
•Certification or formal training in Program or Project Management, and experience using resource management tools is a big plus.
