Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.
  • •Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Make high judgment build-vs-buy decisions across a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies.
  • •Invent and introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance (scalability, cost, latency, throughput).
  • •Attract and retain top talent and nurture team development through mentoring and coaching while contributing to the long-term roadmap.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 286,200 - 326,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI plus 10+ years developing or leading AI and ML algorithms/technologies, or a Master's degree plus 8+ years.
  • •At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • •Experience overseeing the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI software components (e.g., foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search).
  • •Experience making high judgment build-vs-buy decisions across AI technologies (Open Source and SaaS).
  • •Experience inventing or applying LLM optimization techniques to improve performance (scalability, cost, latency, throughput).
