Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the applicable sourcing and DFM strategies for 3D printed parts.
  • •Aid production in troubleshooting order execution to ensure customer success after an order is placed.
  • •Interface directly with 3D printing shops, internal staff, management, and customers to coordinate project activities.
  • •Lead special projects to expand the manufacturing partner network and improve core capabilities with OEM equipment makers.
  • •Identify and address design-for-manufacturing (DFM) issues based on 3D models and drawings; support post-processing and finishes discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred
  • •5+ years in engineering/manufacturing with 3D printing experience, preferably at a multi-technology shop
  • •Knowledge of optimum 3D printing technology, material selections, cycle times, material limits and costs
  • •Experience working with suppliers, OEMs, and customers; strong communication
  • •Experience with 3D printing software (Materialise Magics, Rhino) and CAD (SolidWorks a plus)
