Job Summary

Oversee environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure plant compliance with EH&S policies. Identify and respond to unsafe conditions and behaviors, recommend corrective actions, and develop and deliver safety and environmental training for leaders and designated trainers. Maintain and support safety documentation, including SDS database updates and review of new chemical requests, while tracking training compliance metrics as the site EHS subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance as directed by the EH&S Manager.
•Address unsafe or at-risk behaviors/conditions immediately and professionally to protect on-site safety and health.
•Identify hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommend corrective measures.
•Provide EH&S topics and training material to leadership teams and deliver required safety and environmental training.
•Maintain the SDS database, review new chemical requests for safety and compliance requirements, and report training compliance metrics.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field; or a combination of experience and training in lieu of a degree.
•Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with EHS as the primary responsibility.
•Experience administering CAA, SWPP, SPCC, and EPCRA programs.
•Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong organizational ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
