•Own the outcomes for your sub-area of Financial Operations over multiple quarters, not just shipping a backlog
•Define problems worth solving in your scope by synthesising merchant feedback, support and dispute data, competitive moves and platform constraints
•Plan and deliver initiatives independently, making real-time trade-offs on scope, sequencing and quality to protect timelines and outcomes
•Write specs that anticipate edge cases in payments operations: reconciliation breaks, dispute lifecycles, currency and settlement complexity
•Partner closely with engineering on feasibility and technical trade-offs, and define metrics to measure whether your sub-area is working
