Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and disassemble Nulka decoy components, propulsion units, and associated systems using specialised tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • •Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and physical measurements to verify product quality and performance.
  • •Perform production, maintenance, and testing activities in line with approved procedures, work orders, and schedules.
  • •Support material control activities including kitting, staging, and movement of equipment and explosive ordnance.
  • •Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation in Maximo and other relevant systems, and perform inspections, acceptance testing, and calibration.

Key Requirements

  • •Certificate III in a relevant technical discipline, or demonstrated experience in Defence weapons platform maintenance or planned maintenance activities.
  • •Hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance – NV2.
  • •Work to approved procedures, work orders, and schedules for production, maintenance, and testing activities.
  • •Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in Maximo and other relevant systems.
  • •Perform inspections, acceptance testing, and calibration to meet quality requirements, while following safety, ESD, and explosive ordnance handling standards.
