Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the management and maintenance of building, plant, and equipment.
  • •Manage and support technical projects within the hospital.
  • •Manage and mitigate technical operations risk within the hospital and ensure preventative maintenance.
  • •Oversee and manage on-site contractors and suppliers in the hospital.
  • •Lead and manage the technical team and manage department budget/finances.

Key Requirements

  • •NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (heavy current), with Thermodynamics and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level, plus relevant experience.
  • •Alternatively, NQF level 7 with minimum 6 years’ post-graduate engineering experience with HVAC and auxiliary electrical power supplies exposure.
  • •Minimum experience: NQF level 6 plus 12 years’ post-graduate engineering experience with HVAC and auxiliary electrical power supplies exposure.
  • •Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
  • •Experience supporting facility management, including people and technical operations exposure.
