Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform standard and advanced laboratory support activities following GMP standards, agreed scope, timelines, and documentation procedures.
  • •Maintain equipment readiness including housekeeping, equipment performance checks, and preventative maintenance per SOPs.
  • •Manage lab waste streams with correct documentation and labelling, and handle inventory/supplies using Kanban and CISPro.
  • •Prepare buffer, media, and reagents using an electronic notebook to record batch details and generate labels.
  • •Provide coverage, support, guidance, and training to laboratory technicians; perform regular audits and lead process improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • •Experience working in a laboratory environment (1–2 years) and following Health and Safety regulations.
  • •Understanding of GMP in the pharma industry, and experience working to GxP or in regulated laboratory environments.
  • •Experience working to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • •Health and Safety qualifications are an advantage; trainer status (or working towards) is preferred.
