Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine data collection methods for environmental investigations using soil sampling, soil gas sampling, groundwater sampling, and related sources.
  • •Assist with Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and site corrective strategies.
  • •Oversee subsurface boring/trenching and monitoring well or extraction well installations, including subcontractor oversight.
  • •Prepare data products (tables, maps, geologic cross-sections, groundwater modeling) and maintain QC standards for measurements and reporting.
  • •Generate and present technical reports and documentation while complying with safety and regulatory/data integrity requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related discipline.
  • •5 to 7 years of experience working as a Geologist.
  • •Analytical skills with geological research techniques and protocol.
  • •Working knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM) and related UST investigations/remediation.
