Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee qualification, maintenance, and operational readiness of electrical components to support safe and efficient plant operations.
  • •Develop and implement maintenance programs, and perform periodic inspections and testing to identify degradation or potential issues.
  • •Participate in design and modification of electrical systems, including review/approval of design changes and compliant documentation of modifications.
  • •Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable requirements (including 10 CFR 50.49 and General Design Criteria) and prepare reports/documentation for regulatory agencies.
  • •Provide training to plant personnel and support continuous improvement via root cause analysis and corrective action programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited program.
  • •Minimum 6 years of relevant electrical engineering experience focused on power generation and distribution systems.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license (or equivalent certification) preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, including breakers, relays, transformers, generators, motors, and cables.
  • •Proficiency using engineering software/tools such as CAD and simulation software, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
