Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform specific and moderate portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • •Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • •Complete detailed engineering assignments involving calculations and structural analysis.
  • •Propose approaches to solve new problems using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
  • •Identify discrepancies in results and support resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • •6+ years of experience working with Canadian codes and design standards
  • •P.Eng with EGBC is required, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • •Experience with structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD Pro
  • •Familiarity with CSA and U.S. design codes for concrete and steel structures
