Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from initial RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs with internal teams and customers/commercial partners.
  • •Understand customer technical requirements and build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
  • •Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
  • •Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and maintain understanding of the competitive landscape and evolving threats.
  • •Position Fortinet solutions to customers remotely or in person, including confident presentation via whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical plans, and customer discussions; maintain accurate CRM activity and account technical information.

Key Requirements

  • •High aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
  • •Experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
  • •Demonstrated problem-solving skills with impact on key wins in the current organization.
  • •Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technically with external and internal stakeholders.
  • •Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
