  • •Direct and train production supervisors across production paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, and problem solving.
  • •Check daily production orders and ensure every position is filled before production line startup.
  • •Oversee safety daily and through monthly safety meetings, supporting safety, turnover, workers compensation, and team member morale.
  • •Ensure machinery performance, workstation USDA inspection completion, accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and proper product coding.
  • •Oversee processing operations with other supervisors, maintain records for reworked/returned product, and provide ongoing quality education.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years in a manufacturing environment or poultry, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • •2 years employed at Tyson (or equivalent experience) preferred; familiarity with processing floor operations preferred.
  • •High school diploma; education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses preferred.
  • •Must access all production floor areas for audits and inspections and tolerate environmental conditions (28–45 degrees).
  • •Strong communication skills; ability to perform team leader problem solving and motivation, including human relations functions like training and counseling.
