Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complex assignments involving instrumentation and data acquisition/processing systems.
  • •Maintain, calibrate, configure, monitor, test, troubleshoot, install, and repair instrumentation, process controls, data acquisition systems, and electrical systems.
  • •Investigate, diagnose, correct, and document instrumentation or system malfunctions, including analyzing calibration and processed data.
  • •Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electrical and electronic units, assemblies, and systems; perform wiring and panel layout.
  • •Wire terminations, install connectors and terminals, perform continuity checks, and troubleshoot test failures in collaboration with design engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in instrumentation/control technology, electrical systems, or related field (or 3+ years of professional controls/electrical experience in lieu of a degree).
  • •2+ years of experience working with instrumentation such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, valves, flow meters, multimeters, or oscilloscopes.
  • •Experience configuring and troubleshooting instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, drawings, manuals, and engineering sketches.
  • •Hands-on experience with electrical layout, wiring, continuity testing, and correcting wiring/instrumentation faults.
