Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and improve ergonomics programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company EH&S requirements.
  • •Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent ergonomic injuries.
  • •Develop and deliver ergonomics training and presentations to promote awareness and compliance.
  • •Support site injury reduction and ergonomic goals, including serving as a resource for employee compliance questions and concerns.
  • •Support first aid and OSHA injury investigations using root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and track them to completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • •Experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Ability to interpret and apply applicable regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, IFC, IBC).
  • •Experience with ergonomic evaluations in industrial and office settings (preferred) / familiarity with ergonomic evaluation tools such as EJMS or CUSA (preferred).
