Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare desktop studies, including data review, interpretation, and development of technical documentation.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and undertake geotechnical site investigations, including drilling supervision, sampling, and in-situ testing.
  • •Conduct soil profiling and rock core logging in accordance with AS 1726:2017 Geotechnical Site Investigation standard.
  • •Collect and manage soil and rock samples and coordinate laboratory testing programs.
  • •Prepare factual and interpretive reports and assist with geotechnical analyses for foundations, slope stability, pavement designs, earthworks and other structures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or geological equivalent
  • •2-10 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology
  • •Willingness to undertake regular fieldwork and travel
  • •Competency in scoping, planning, and managing geotechnical investigations
  • •Familiarity with OpenGround/gINT, Rocscience, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W; Leapfrog welcomed
