Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop preliminary engineering designs and specifications, including feasibility studies, economic studies, project cost estimates, and as-built drawings.
  • •Coordinate design implementation by providing direction to equipment vendors, reviewing consultant work, and maintaining installation schedules and project documentation.
  • •Conduct engineering planning and operational reviews during pre-project studies, define scope, run RFP processes, evaluate proposals, and report progress to management.
  • •Administer contracts by reviewing bid packages for compliance/completeness, preparing project documents (justifications, budget analyses, plans, schedules), and monitoring installations to meet specs and budgets.
  • •Provide people leadership through coaching and employee development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •2+ years’ experience in a leadership role, including team development and management.
  • •Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and design issues.
  • •Knowledge of installation and construction project scheduling, with strong project management and contract administration skills.
  • •Proficiency in engineering economics and AutoCAD, plus Microsoft Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.
