Key Responsibilities

  • •Operationalize Anthropic’s crisis management program by translating NIMS/ICS and ISO standards into response plans, playbooks, activation protocols, and governance.
  • •Serve as Incident Commander or support the Incident Commander during activations, coordinating response teams in real time.
  • •Design and facilitate crisis exercises and tabletop simulations to test plans and surface improvement opportunities.
  • •Lead after-action reviews and track corrective actions to completion, updating plans and training with lessons learned.
  • •Partner with GSOC, Legal, People, Communications, IT Security, and Facilities to build coordinated crisis response capability and maintain crisis response rosters and contacts.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional experience in emergency management, incident response, or crisis management.
  • •Have led cross-functional response teams as Incident Commander in high-stress situations.
  • •Design and facilitate incident and crisis exercises across multiple levels of complexity.
  • •Communicate exceptionally well in writing and in person, including executive briefings during active incidents.
  • •Available for on-call support and flexible hours, including nights and weekends, during crisis events.
