Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of test engineering and maintenance personnel across multiple UAS and weapon systems.
  • •Develop and execute T&E strategies for integration, planning, execution, and operations, aligned to program leadership directives.
  • •Manage technical efforts for flight test engineers and control room personnel, including input to test event planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
  • •Oversee all test and integration efforts at system and subsystem levels, coordinating projects and tracking/communicating test progress.
  • •Plan, execute, and report on lab, ground, and flight tests as required, including oversight of test data collection and initial data analysis; coordinate with FAA and military certifying agencies on test range COAs/requirements.

Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent engineering experience).
  • •12+ years as a test conductor/director for developmental aircraft and payload integration, or 10+ years as a lead test conductor/test director for developmental weapon or missile systems on manned and/or unmanned aircraft.
  • •Complete understanding of engineering concepts and ability to quickly learn new concepts, organize, schedule, coordinate phases, and solve complex problems at the project level.
  • •Strong leadership experience managing and leading teams for test and evaluation activities.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance, and be able to travel as required and work extended hours as required.
