Key Responsibilities

  • •Capture, structure, and report cost data within company financial and project controls systems.
  • •Build and maintain project baselines using drawings and specifications; support baseline budget creation.
  • •Manage cost control by tracking actuals vs budgets and funding limits, and monitoring POs, subcontracts, and commitments.
  • •Apply earned value methods and prepare RVTMs-equivalent cost/schedule integration where relevant.
  • •Develop trending and forecasting, analyze progress, quantify cost/schedule impacts, and prepare reports for project reviews and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency using enterprise financial/project systems and standard project controls processes.
  • •Working knowledge of accounting principles as applied to project cost management.
  • •Experience with earned value requirements, cost/schedule integration, and performance measurement.
  • •Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to establish and maintain cost baselines.
  • •Familiarity with Australian standards, governance expectations, and reporting in major projects.
