Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform end-to-end testing, download programming, start up, commission, and service HVAC equipment on assigned projects.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact to diagnose, examine, and repair equipment and ensure customer satisfaction at customer locations.
  • •Coordinate with team leadership and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • •Enforce safety standards, maintain security and accountability of company assets, and mentor team members while supporting overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school; typically requires 10+ years of HVAC experience.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone or iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, Hit & Run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving) in the prior 3 years.
  • •EPA certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
  • •Able to meet physical requirements for the role, including safe ladder use and working in confined spaces/at heights.
