Job Summary

Provide effective instruction to second-language learners by teaching general faculty subjects and specialized courses within the Applied Media discipline. Contribute to the college’s strategy and policy development while participating in academic and extracurricular events and applied research aligned with the national innovation agenda. Manage course delivery, assessment, advising, and student support, including course curriculum updates and quality assurance. Serve on committees, mentor students and colleagues, and fulfill required administrative and leadership duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Teach courses aligned with course syllabi and program goals, using practical applied approaches and second-language learning strategies.
•Develop and use educational technology resources and provide continuous feedback using assessments (tests, projects, assignments, and other evaluation tools).
•Assess students, update grades timely, and contribute to question banks and coursework assessments.
•Advise and support students, including serving as an advisor, maintaining office hours, monitoring student progress, and supporting internships and work placements.
•Handle administrative duties such as preparing eCAF and CAR, performing course management and quality assurance, revising curricula, invigilating assessments, and coaching/mentoring as needed.

Key Requirements

•Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master’s degree plus a professional certification relevant to the discipline with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor’s degree may be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification.
•Minimum 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Experience developing course curriculum per accreditation and international standards, and incorporating educational technology into curriculum and instruction.
