Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and mature Unit4’s enterprise security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, identity, SaaS, and endpoint domains.
  • •Lead security target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap, aligning risk reduction with business outcomes and socializing tradeoffs with leadership.
  • •Partner with Cloud Ops and Product Architecture to embed security by design into enterprise platforms and product roadmaps, including CI/CD compliance checks.
  • •Design layered enterprise security architectures (defence-in-depth and resilience) and act as an architectural authority across interdepartmental engagements.
  • •Consult on Microsoft security tooling and advise on secure adoption of cloud services across multi-cloud environments (Azure primary, awareness of AWS/GCP).

Key Requirements

  • •7–10+ years of IT or cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a dedicated security architecture role.
  • •Deep hands-on expertise across cloud (Azure required), identity, network, endpoint, SaaS, and modern enterprise architectures.
  • •Strong experience delivering Zero Trust concepts in production environments.
  • •Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (e.g., Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Conditional Access, Entra ID governance, PIM).
  • •Relevant security certifications such as CISSP and/or Microsoft Certified: Cyber security Architect Expert (SC-100) and Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500).
