Job Summary

Bridge sales and engineering to position and evaluate Harness’s AI-Native DevSecOps platform for application and API/AI security. Deliver technical demos and execute complex engagements (workshops and POVs) to prove value across the SDLC—from code to operation. Support SaaS/software evaluations in the DevSecOps/cybersecurity space using hands-on expertise with SCA, SAST, DAST, API security, and runtime protection, while translating customer security and compliance needs into product feedback.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection within the DevSecOps landscape.
•Evangelize Harness AI-Native DevSecOps capabilities, highlighting AppSec and API/AI security features including SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection.
•Translate business security risks and compliance problems into technical solutions across the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.
•Drive complex technical engagements (workshops and POVs) to demonstrate securing the SDLC from code to operation, including API and AI workflows.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 290,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or cybersecurity domain, or strong practitioner experience in the software evaluation and buying process.
•Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools such as API security, AI security, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
•Appreciation for cloud-native application security and security risks associated with GenAI integration.
•Ability to convey complex customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
•Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for customer engagements, internal meetings, or conferences.
