Own the technical direction of the data platform powering fraud detection products. Define long-term architecture, design and evolve large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines handling billions of records, and improve scalability, reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence. Partner across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Infrastructure, establish engineering standards and patterns, and mentor junior engineers while balancing immediate needs with long-term platform investments.

•Improve scalability, reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence; drive incident response improvements.
•Partner cross-functionally and establish engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices; participate in production support/on-call.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering, with ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
•Expert-level proficiency in Python or Golang.
•Experience designing and operating large-scale ETL/ELT and streaming data platforms (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop).
•Strong experience designing scalable distributed systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•Deep expertise across multiple data storage/search technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, data lake architectures) and highly available containerized services (Kubernetes or similar).
