Specify, manage, and implement EH&S safety programs under general supervision to control hazards to personnel and equipment and limit liability. Perform safety analysis, investigate accidents with corrective actions, and use methods such as 8D, FMEA, and PHA.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage safety support on specified projects in accordance with AMAT policies and government regulations to control hazards and reduce liability.
•Develop and implement programs to minimize risk to employees, customers, and the environment, including resolving safety concerns related to new products.
•Coordinate safety aspects of operations and engineering with internal teams, customers, and other organizations tied to operations and product design.
•Perform product/system safety analysis and conduct compliance evaluation of products, programs, and facilities per company and governmental requirements.
•Investigate accidents, specify corrective action programs, and manage 3rd-party product safety tool assessments, driving corrective actions.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 96,000 - 132,000

•Develop and/or implement programs to minimize risk to employees, customers, and the environment, and ensure products meet safety requirements at shipment.
•Maintain a thorough safety knowledge base across one or more EH&S disciplines including occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, facilities/industrial safety, product safety, lab safety, and sustainability.
•Conduct product/system safety analysis on components, subsystems, and systems and participate in compliance evaluation of products, programs, and facilities.
•Use investigation and assessment methods such as 8D, FMEA, and PHA; communicate and present safety status, issues, and reports to EH&S and business groups.
