Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist roustabouts and coworkers and support day-to-day project needs.
  • •Locate underground services (pipes/wires) and use a probe when digging for pipe; support knowledge of legal bell holes.
  • •Drive and maneuver equipment to remove topsoil/vegetation/rocks and distribute/level earth or terrain using successive passes.
  • •Adjust hand wheels and pedals to control attachments; coordinate machine actions with crew signals; check fuel supplies to ensure availability.
  • •Perform housekeeping at the job site and on company vehicle/equipment, conduct basic automotive/equipment maintenance, complete daily invoices, and learn/follow safety regulations to avoid hazards.

Key Requirements

  • •Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain a CDL.
  • •Basic computer skills and ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Knowledge and experience performing environmental operation functions and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
