Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet production and maintenance goals while ensuring safety and efficiency
  • •Inspect, test, adjust, repair and replace electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems
  • •Inspect, test and calibrate flow meters, valves, pressure sensors, temperature indicators, weigh scales and other devices
  • •Troubleshoot and solve problems in devices and circuits using test equipment and manuals
  • •Use hand and power tools to perform tasks and update calibration data, schematics and work orders

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent; Red Seal Trade Qualification
  • •2-5 years of concentrator (mill) operating experience relating to crushing, grinding and flotation would be a definite asset
  • •Familiarity with Modicon PLC, Emerson Delta V DCS
  • •Ability to inspect, test, adjust, repair and replace electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems
  • •Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems using test equipment, schematics and manuals
